My history

I studied photography at the Polytechnic Institute Virgen de la Merced

At 14 years, coinciding with the start of my photography studios my father gave me my first camera, an SLR 35mm semi-Canon AV-1 model with which I started practicing and parallel to my studies also earning his first money by selling photography my fellow football team photos that made them.

After completing the studies I started calling different doors with my sports book under his arm, always with negative results until the Europa Press agency told me that they would keep your phone and call me in case you would need some photographer . The singer Mike Kennedy, the musical group Los Sirex, the disco queen Donna Summer and other characters were the first to be captured by my camera.

Shortly after I started making wedding reports for agency Nikart weekends task that arranged my work in a photo lab.

In 1990 I got the opportunity to introduce the world's sports press, responding to an ad in a magazine asked a photographer, going to be the photographer for the weekly local sports coverage El Pito, which months later would also director. At the same time my photos published in the local newspaper La Veu del Besòs

After an unexpected shutdown of publisher I worked with the agency Fery Press, agency through which I became correspondent in Barcelona a new football magazine, El Golazo, until in 1996 decided to release its own national magazine: Futbolmanía

I became a photographer, director, editor and book designer, until two years after the Alesport Group asked me to participate in a new project monthly football magazine in partnership with Spanish TV called Solo Goles, and becomes part of the template Posted photographer exercising as well as how the editor. Some of my articles published in this journal were solicited and published in MarcaAsSportMundo Deportivo, La Gazzetta dello Sport and L'equipe newspapers.

During this time I began to work with the international sports photography agency Allsport, of which I became a correspondent in Barcelona, taking I assigned weekly coverage of football matches to dispute the RCD Espanyol and FC Barcelona.

Barely 20 months later, the publisher decided to close the publication Solo Goles way to be a photographer and magazine Solo Moto. Parallel I start working from Barcelona for the LNFS (Futsal), making the match coverage of Honor Division that are played weekly in the city.

Also during this time collaborating with the engine supplement El Periódico de Catalunya, doing stories on cars and motorcycles.

In 2001 the magazine Don Balón offered me a position as a photographer. A year later I was sent to the World Cup from Korea and Japan where I did cover almost twenty games, including the final.

In 2003, the agency Getty Images  bought Allsport and stop working for them for a period of one year, when I made the partnerships with the agency Firo Foto. In 2004 the relationship was restored Getty Images and started working for them again until 2009, when the agency sent a photographer to their staff to Spain and it forced me to stop definitely work.

In 2009 I started working as a collaborator of the international publisher Panini, for which I still work today.

Currently I'm working too (as contributor) for the agencies Pro Shots (Netherlands), Aflo (Japan), Icon Sport (France), BackPage Images (UK) and DPI (Portugal).
